| Long before computers, answering machines, and
cell phones there was a time that was part of all of us. Instead of
drive-thrus there were drive-ins. Coke wasn't "Classic" and it came
from a fountain or it's green
glass bottle. And the only survivor series on TV consisted of
Gilligan and his crew. Times have changed but have we? Do you still remember the first record you owned? How about sitting around the radio instead of the television? And EVERY night was a classic car cruise! Was it really that long ago? “NOSTALGIA” takes you down memory lane with your 57’ Chevy as we remember the times and people who changed our lives. You'll be taken back to that fateful day at Pearl Harbor and travel through the 40's, 50's, and 60's until the first steps are taken on the lunar surface. Nationally touring stand-up comedian Randy Riggle will be your tour guide on a trip filled with songs and laughs in this one hour and forty five minute one-man show. Randy entertains his audiences with stories, gun slinging, dancing, and pantomime. His observational humor about the era is complimented with over 40 impersonations and a special tribute to veterans. The entire revue is backed with a multi-media slide presentation. Join us for an evening of nostalgic memories of a by-gone era. Get ready to REMEMBER WHEN!
Randy has been a seasoned veteran of the comedy scene since 1982 as a nationally touring comedian. His combination of innovative style, quick wit, and brilliant impressions has made Randy popular with all types of audiences for many years. It is that type of versatility that has made him one of the hottest tickets on college campuses and a favorite in the corporate market. He debuted his talent during an "open mike" night at the Pittsburgh Comedy Club on February 2, 1982 and Groundhog Day has never been the same! Since then he has hundreds of college appearances to his credit including Penn State, Ohio State, and the Universities of California and Hawaii. Randy has also performed for such corporations as Westinghouse, PNC Bank, and the United Steel Workers of America. Riggle is a native of southwestern Pennsylvania, and has brought quality entertainment to the area through his independent production company for the past two decades. Riggle Productions is a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA). He has written for many comedians including Jay Leno and Joan Rivers as well as opening for such acts as Dennis Miller, Rhonda Shear, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen Degeneres, and Gallagher. This talented comedian has appeared nationally on all three major networks including NBC, ABC, and CBS. Randy is also a regular performer at the world famous IMPROV Comedy Clubs. Randy has also become a regular on the strip in Las Vegas having performed at the Continental, Westward Ho, Palace Station, Riviera, and Stardust Hotels. Randy's act features a clean, refreshing approach to humor as he is a favorite in both Christian and secular markets. Just add a few props, an acoustic guitar, and a few impressions and you have one hilariously funny evening of comedy entertainment.
